So far the direct counter against Crossblade is, Falcon blade paired with Blood Goobert + Precision arrow + Acorn ring. The weakness of this build is it uses quite a lot of stamina overtime.
It outdamages the Crossblade in the begginning, then compensate the loss of health with Blood Goobert.
Just don't combine into Crossblade with this build, this build requires fast triggers to overwhelm Crossblades.
Blood Goobert can crit heal & drain very if its triggered at high speed and received crit buff.
I was trying to get Crossblade, but I failed to gather enough whetstone on time, Iron Goobert requires too much space and items to properly utilize, so I decided to get Blood Goobert.
Works very well, since Blood Goobert can crit (30 drain damage).
One of the best builds I've made and still couldn't defeat crossblades :( I accidentally took the screenshot before end of round, but I ended with 23 frost on him and had used all 10s of my invulnerability. Somehow I didn't find a single vampire gem so I couldn't turn any of my gloves into vampire gloves. Got unlucky there. Also got unlucky not finding the Bird with the 5% speed buffs at the end.
Also this build seems better on the archer for the 5% crit backpack.
Vampirism isn't super helpful for you since most of your damage is ranged. I would have even went cursed dagger tbh the crit chance can really stack up like it would be a very reasonable amount here. I also would have tried for more mana orbs probably? Pretty decent damage and lets you scale/get to invulns and lifesteals easier. The only other thing is your armor placement isn't great. You aren't getting any extra regen from having holy items nearby and that definitely adds up especially if they have no saw blade. Actually, on that note, you missed out on shield of valor too. Especially since your opponent is running a quite stamina inefficient version of this build with no 0 stam weapons it would have boned him pretty hard. Putting them on "your crossblade scaling doesn't matter as much because you have to wait for stamina regen anyways" asap is actually a very relevant wincon vs. the build. Consider also not running manathirst when you already have magic staff up and running. In this specific case it was almost certainly a detriment. It was probably doing very little damage per swing and running into thorns for no reason. 1 mana every 1.4 seconds is also just whatever and I can't imagine the lifesteal was online often with holy books to drain your mana. Second staff or even simply forgoing mana thirst would have been better here imo. Weird amount of empty space as well. I get being a neat freak even when it comes to games but you can't say it's one of your best builds ever made when you're placing items for looks rather than function at least some of the time (like not just filling that space in with random food or herbs(or also the obvious patterns you were going for)). When I get done with a really strong looking build it will be a couple solid structures that piece together and then a mess and food and stuff that I spent far too long finicking with like a jigsaw puzzle. And even then maybe it was your best build regardless but it definitely could have been better. Sorry for the rant I'm not trying to be mean just hoping you pick up some things.
The game is so addicting. Well done! One feature I'd love to see in the future: Saving inventory layout in the shop. So I could essentially save the current state of the inventory. Then break everything and reorganize everything trying to fit them better. If I can't seem to find a good order, I could just click the old layout and everything would be back to what it was. Essentially a way to do Ctrl + Z in the game.
I can't wait to see the other classes and for the release.

Interesting matchup, both equipped with 3 Jynx Torquilla, a strong luck-based build and Mana staff as main weapon. Both side had their luck-based build destroyed by triple Jynx Toquilla.
The result is, having 1 Manathirst and 2 books of light made a huge difference. Despite the opponent is faster for equipped with 2 Vampiric gloves, having 2 books of light has negated 4 seconds of speed-buffed Mana staff attacks.
The Manathirst also dealt a lot damage and healed a lot of hp with such a high mana consumption.
Topaz in armor slot can make your girl slightly resistant to Fanfare build.
Since there's a warhammer, in case there's a triple fanfare build rendering warhammer unusable, Unhealing staff can easily take warhammer's role to attack opponent hp since it triggers with only 1 stamina. As long as there's a lot of mana production items.
May I ask when does windows version get 0.5.1b update?
Secondly, I have discovered a bug where the opponent's Glove of Haste fails to function. She has three Glove of Haste connected to magic staff but her magic staff did not get the speed buffs.
Maybe it doesn't display how much speed buff Glove of Haste has given?
The Nocturnal Lock Lifter pairs very well with Ruby armour!
Amethyst (around 60% purity) weapons + 3 Holy Booksz with some Vampiric trinkets.
It debuffs enemy quickly and heals your girl with every hit with high efficiency.
Even then, such a built was heavily countered by Rangers equipped with High Purity Ruby mana weapons, paired with large amount of berries that restores the lost mana and luck quickly. Therefore my girl almost couldn't survive the challenge.
i just love the impracticaly large greatsword like wtf if u have 2 of those with a tonna stamina things like godly stamina gems and put them on armor, along with some stamina pots in the pot bascket, no stragtegy stands a chance
really was enjoying this game in the web browser but it seems to be broken the last few times i've tried to play. All the items are blacked out boxes and the bag grid doesnt seem to be displaying correctly anymore. all this changed in the last week or so. It worked fine before. playing on mac laptop with firefox browser
I love this game! Really wish you could make a wild boar pet that can stun enemies and eat food items. The recipe can be piggybank and two Walrus Tusks! you could feed the boar every turn to make it stay healthy and acquire certain but limited by 2/2 food buffs or else the boar dies for some prime meat, lol. To balance it out maybe introduce an item that changes one random store item into a food item! Having a pet that can stun opponents can be a huge combo with the hammer without using much stamina and not having to go towards a dragon build. Otherwise the prime meat could be used to transform the dragon into an even stronger one!
Did the game get a reset? For some reason I lost all my trophies and rankings. It's not a big deal since they're not used for anything but it kinda sucks to start all over.
Yeah, same thing happened to me :( so many trophies are gone. I personally prefer the browser version since I play on my MacBook, it is just easier than being confined to my office on my PC.
Broom %blind application has to be broken. I keep getting 7-12+ stacks of blind from a single broom and there's fuck all I can do to stop them cuz the only blind counter is way too rare. 35% feels much more like 70%, maybe higher
feels like a bit too much love is being shown to reapers. they have not one, not two, but three recipes that only they can make. like at least give ranger one.
eh. its a whole thing. its a very fun game :) reapers do kinda feel like a class you would unlock rather then starting with though, considering there focus isnt derict damnage but ive never made a game so i dont know if thats wholely accurate. i await futcher updates

The game is so addicting. Well done! One feature I'd love to see in the future: Saving inventory layout in the shop. So I could essentially save the current state of the inventory. Tried to establish Vampiric build after purchasing Blood Scythe, but horrendously failed, because failed to roll for more Blood Amulet.
Improvised with Steel Goobert, Hunter Arrow and Sapphire gems.
It was extremely close from getting cutted down by an extremely strong vampiric build.
Bought Heroic Potion even if there's no shortage of stamina, just in case opponent has Fanfares and Shields.
Extremely strong blind-shield build defeated by four Book of Light, mana-powered by Sapphire Scythe.
Sapphire Scythe cut through 223 armor like cream cheese.
Quite amazing such a hastily improvised build can live through Survival mode.

Emerald Vampiric Armour paired with Flawed Sapphire Weapons + Book of Light.
If the opponent has fast attacks, then Emerald poison debuff works very well.
Paired with Flawed Sapphire Weapons that applies freeze debuff + Book of Light that make use of excess mana. No mana orb is needed.

Having a Sapphire+Amethyst Falcon blade is quite effective against Omegaooze Primeslime.
Since it can apply freeze debuff and cancel buffs at high speed.
Furthermore, its rare to see both players are using chibi portraits <3
Full set armour with helm, body amour, and boots.
Unhealing staff pairs very well with Ruby armour slot.
The helm is a direct counter against lightsaber build. It helps your girl to survive the first few lightsaber hit at the beginning.
Gem build with various equipment, pretty resilient at late game.
Please keep the chibi portraits, they are very cute <3 Love the skeleton bikini armour design

2. rangers still vastly outnumber reapers, so if anything they need more love
